Job summary

Longo in Mississauga is seeking a Produce Assistant Department Manager - Full Time to lead daily operations in the produce department and support the Produce Manager.

You will mentor team members, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory and display fresh products, and uphold food safety and loss prevention policies. Availability on days, evenings and weekends is required. This role offers growth opportunities and a team-focused culture in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a produce department with product knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Ownership to resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Creativity to create eye-catching displays.

Responsibilities
