Job summary

Aramco seeks a Process Online Analyzer Specialist to join C&PAD within our Research & Analytical Services Department. You will evaluate, select and develop analyzers and sensing technologies for real-time process monitoring, and work with chemists, engineers, and field teams to troubleshoot upsets and deliver technical solutions.

This role requires a Master in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, 10+ years in process monitoring, and willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for an expat

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred in related field.
• Minimum 10 years in process monitoring and online analyzers.
• Experience with chromatography and physical property analyzers in oil and gas/petrochemical is preferred.
• Patents and publications are positive indicators of technical achievement.
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for expat assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide process analyzer system support to R&D, operations and pilot plants.
• Track analyzer performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Develop analytical solutions to monitor process composition in real time.
• Assist with design, selection, installation and commissioning of analyzer systems.
• Manage projects for implementation of analyzer technologies including calibration and maintenance.
• Support in-house technology development programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, process engineers and R&D.
• Publish patents and papers as applicable.
