Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. seeks an apprentice plumber to install, repair and supervise plumbing work in residential, commercial or industrial settings. You will read blueprints, measure and fit pipes, and train junior apprentices under supervision.

The role requires completing apprenticeship levels 1–4 and prior plumbing experience of 3–5 years is preferred. Work is daytime with benefits including health and dental plans.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
• English or French language ability per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Supervise other workers.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
