Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• P.Eng. designation with APEGA or immediate transfer eligibility.
• Extensive piping engineering experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Lead major capital projects within EPC/EPCM delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of ABSA requirements and ASME/ASTM piping codes.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering teams delivering complex projects or portfolios of concurrent projects.
• Provide technical oversight for specifications, calculations, studies, reports, and design deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering execution with project management, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an experienced P.Eng. to lead piping engineering execution across major capital projects or a portfolio of concurrent industrial projects. You will provide technical oversight, mentor engineering teams, drive engineering quality and safety, and work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver complex projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Successful candidates will have:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Maintain a P.Eng. designation with APEGA or possess immediate transfer eligibility
• Demonstrate extensive piping engineering experience within heavy industrial environments
• Lead major capital projects and/or portfolios within EPC or EPCM delivery models
• Apply advanced knowledge of ABSA requirements and ASME/ASTM piping codes and standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, contractors, and executive stakeholders
