Job summary

CareRx Corporation in Canada seeks an Assistant Pharmacy Manager (Finance) to supervise daily dispensary operations and lead a team while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role partners with the Pharmacy Manager and serves as a subject matter expert on compliance, billing, and incident investigations.

You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, manage payroll-related items, and coordinate training. Travel within Canada may be required; hours are 9am-5pm, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the provincial college.
• Minimum 3 years' pharmacist experience; facility living a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispensary operations and supervise staff.
• Lead compliance, regulatory requirements, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with off-site staff to ensure timely procedures.
• Provide compliance training and develop team through mentorship.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Document payroll and HR items for direct reports.
