Qualifications

• Must hold a non-restricted registration in good standing as a PCP.
• Current BLS CPR certification is required.
• Obtain a valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent.
• Completion of the F.A.R.E. test is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients, transporting ill or injured individuals.
• Operate ambulances and provide clinical care during patient transport.
• Ensure EMS vehicles are properly stocked and equipped.
• Handle hazardous and graphic scenes and bodily fluids.

Skills

Non-restricted registration with Alberta College of Paramedics

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification

Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License
