Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Band 7 MRI Diagnostic Radiographer based at the Sutton site. The successful candidate will have significant postgraduate MRI experience and strong communication skills, contributing to a growing cross-sectional imaging service.

Hours are 8am–8pm Monday to Friday and 8am–5pm on weekends; the role involves collaboration with Radiologists, Clinicians and the MDT across Chelsea and Sutton sites.

Qualifications

• Significant postgraduate MRI experience is required.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Analytical, organisational and computer skills are important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical MRI scans to produce diagnostic information according to current protocols.
• Maintain high standards of MRI knowledge and adapt protocols as clinically indicated.
• Follow COSHH and Health and Safety guidelines and ensure safe operation in a strong magnetic field.
• Work as part of the MRI and cross-sectional team liaising with Radiologists, Clinicians and other staff.
