The role emphasizes hands‑on M&E work, team leadership, and coordinating with contractors to sustain operations. The position requires a post‑secondary certificate in Building Maintenance or related field, plus at least five years in building maintenance and trades.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary certificate in Building Maintenance or related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in building maintenance and trades.
• Knowledge of Ontario health and safety practices and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, Fire Code, CSA, and Safety Authority.
• Supervise maintenance work orders, contracts, and capital projects.
• Maintain interior and exterior facilities, conduct inspections, and manage supplies.
• Respond to tenant repair requests and manage unit turnovers.
• Oversee on-call emergency response and supervise maintenance staff.
