Job summary

A leading testing, inspection and certification company in Canada is seeking a Senior Assayer/Supervisor to coordinate incoming samples, oversee laboratory production, and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or postsecondary education in a science program, along with supervisory experience and strong communication skills. This full-time position requires a hands-on supervisor ready to lead a lab team effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant laboratory work experience required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience is required.
• Proficient in following work instructions safely and accurately.
• Able to work well under pressure and manage conflicting demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to carry out laboratory analysis meeting QC standards.
• Schedule workflow to meet client deadlines.
• Monitor and maintain lab QC standards.
• Train and motivate staff, set goals and review performance.
