Realign Llc is seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Developer Lead to design and build scalable full-stack apps using Java, Spring Boot and React in a Toronto-based onsite role. You will lead architecture, mentoring, DevOps practices, and ensure secure, maintainable enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, API design, and collaboration with product teams, architects, and stakeholders to drive technical strategy and delivery.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with Spring Cloud and enterprise application development.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and modern deployment practices.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and maintainable full-stack architectures using React and Spring Boot.
• Establish technical standards, development practices, and guidelines.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Optimize database performance and implement data security best practices.
• Lead React development initiatives, including component libraries and state management.
• Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and promote technical excellence.
• Oversee frontend-backend integration, API contracts and data flows.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend stack improvements.
