Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. in Montreal is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Java and Angular skills to join our delivery teams on-site.

You will design and implement frontend with Angular/TypeScript and backend with Java Spring Boot, work with REST APIs, Unix, and databases, and participate in CI/CD and SDLC processes.

This role requires 5-7 years of experience and an ability to collaborate across security, operations, and product teams while delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong knowledge of Angular including TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong knowledge of core Java with Spring Boot.
• Unix commands, DB queries, shell scripting, and database modelling.
• Experience with SDLC and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to design, develop, test, deploy and document software.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Develop back-end services in Java using Spring Boot.
• Work with Unix/Linux and SQL databases; manage scripts and data models.
• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle, including design reviews and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cyber security, technology, business and regulatory teams.

Job Title: Full Stack Developer - Java, Angular

Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week)

Years of experience: 5-7

What you'll do in the role:

• Strong knowledge of Angular programming including typescript, html, CSS for frontend development
• Strong knowledge of core JAVA programming for backend code development with Spring boot framework
• Good knowledge of Unix command, DB Queries, shell and bash scripting, Database set-up and database Modelling
• Good knowledge of SDLC and CI/CD, should Participate in the full Software Delivery Lifecycle, including design reviews, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of applications
• Experience of Platform setup/creation and maintenance
• Good knowledge of REST API Data extraction from multiple sources
• Good to have Kafka Streaming framework for data processing knowledge
• Good to have understanding of various firewall, application, system, platform logs, to develop code for data normalization
• Good to have understanding of data analytics concepts
• Should be able to support the Cyber Security Threat Hunt team with data analytics needs and Collaborate with Technology, business, security, and regulatory teams.
• Ability to identify and highlight gaps in their own knowledge and proactively seek out the information required.
• Capable of synthesizing multiple asks and timelines into holistic, clearly defined milestones and deliverables within a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to apply a high attention to detail and to work autonomously and to meet deadlines.
