Job Description
- The Lead Integration Architect will ensure end‑to‑end business and technology alignment, drive process optimization, and maintain governance across multiple systems and teams, ensuring that business objectives are achieved in a scalable and future‑ready manner.
- Design and oversee integration architecture aligned with product and client requirements.
- Evaluate integration patterns, collaborate with solution architects to design scalable and maintainable integration solution.
- Lead technical implementation of system integrations, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and data quality standards.
- On your day‑to‑day work, you will coordinate and mentor a technical scrum team, acting as the main liaison between development, QA, DevOps, and client teams.
- Version control and proper handover/delivery of integration related assets.
- You’ll work with the project senior management and other key stakeholders to help optimize the delivery pipeline and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Ensure strategic alignment and governance across all platform components, documenting decisions and agreements through process flows.
Responsibilities

Team / Resource Management
- Bilingual English/French – Must
- Work closely with Technical Architects and Integration BA to guarantee technological solutions align with business objectives and scalability requirements.
- Lead, mentor and support a technical integration scrum team.

Project Planning and Strategy
- Work closely with technical teams to understand system requirements, data flow, and integration points.
- Ensure that technical aspects of the integration are executed according to best practices and standards.

Stakeholder Management
- Identify and engage with internal and external key stakeholders
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.

Customer relationship
- Serve as the bridge between business, technical, and product management teams, facilitating communication and alignment across all workstreams.
- Be in direct contact with the customer stakeholders and maintain a professional Customer relationship.
- Be supportive and maintain the integration customers success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The Lead Integration Architect role requires strategic business understanding, cross‑functional communication, and enterprise‑level architectural thinking. Experience designing end‑to‑end business architectures, managing cross‑system dependencies, and aligning solutions to long‑term roadmaps is highly valued.
Technical background
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Engineering or similar.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in leading technical projects, with a focus on system architecture, integration or similar fields.
- Experience in the specific integration of insurance – tech industry – Advantage.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues that may arise during the integration process – Must.
- Background in Software Development (Java) and Data Engineering.
- SQL strong capabilities, with hands‑on experience in writing and executing queries, proven ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues in both testing and production environments.
- Experience working with web services architecture (API).
- Proven experience in cloud environment and integration security.
Soft skills
- At least 8-10 years of experience as leading using agile methodologies.
- Excellent in customer facing/relations skills.
- Proven experience of leading a full scrum team, ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team, manage conflicts, and drive project success.
- Experience as a team lead.
- Very self‑sufficient with strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Travel
- Up to 15% travel to customers’ sites in USA and Canada.
