We are currently searching for a Lead Hand to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This is an exciting and challenging position in a growth-oriented organization. If you are a team player with proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment this may be the opportunity for you.

What you will do
  • Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware;
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences;
  • General maintenance and / or painting;
  • Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.;
  • On call rotation required;
  • Distribute work orders;
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff to address property needs;
  • Work with property managers and outside contractors;
  • Obtain quotes on behalf of Maintenance and Project Managers;
  • Maintain a safe and economical operation of all systems and equipment;
  • Coach and provide feedback to staff;
  • Other duties, as required.
Who you are
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision;
  • Effective, proven skills and experience;
  • Renovations experience an asset;
  • Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset;
  • Must have a valid Alberta driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
