Trentway-Wagar Inc. in Niagara Falls, ON is seeking a Lead Hand 310T Technician to support daily maintenance, diagnostics and annual inspections on commercial vehicles. You will provide technical leadership in the shop and mentor apprentices.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Ontario 310T license, 3+ years of heavy‑duty experience, and strong diagnostic skills. DZ license and ability to travel to the U.S. border are a plus; pension, health/dental benefits and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License.
• 3+ years repairing and maintaining heavy‑duty trucks, buses or motorcoaches.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with diesel engines and electrical systems.
• Experience performing annual safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Leadership or Lead Hand experience is an asset.
• DZ license and ability to travel across the U.S. border are favorable.

Job description

Lead Hand 310T Technician – Niagara Falls, ON

An established motorcoach transportation company in Niagara Falls is seeking an experienced Lead Hand 310T Technician to support daily maintenance operations and provide technical leadership within the shop.

This position is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and annual safety inspections on commercial vehicles while assisting with workflow coordination, mentoring apprentices, and supporting overall fleet reliability.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License
• 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, buses, motorcoaches, or similar commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, and steering components
• Experience performing annual safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or Lead Hand experience considered an asset
• Ability to prioritize work, coordinate repairs, and support shop productivity
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (DZ preferred)
• Ability to travel across the U.S. border

Shift Schedule Options:

• Day Shift or Afternoon Shift available
• 5 x 8-hour schedule (Monday to Friday)
• 4 x 10-hour schedule available based on operational requirements
