Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for the Residential Lending tech team in Toronto. You will own and stabilize lower environments, partner with developers to resolve issues, and maintain CI/CD and cloud reliability to enable safe delivery.

Responsibilities include API design, environment troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration, with GenAI tooling and data modeling tasks. This role requires deep Azure experience and strong problem solving in a financial services setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with C#/.NET Core, web services and RESTful APIs.
• 10+ years designing and operating cloud solutions on Azure.
• Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD, deployments, and lower environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to explain to non-technical partners.
• Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day health of lower environments: provisioning, deployments, monitoring, incident response.
• Triage and resolve environment and integration issues across the stack.
• Design, build, and support APIs and integrations connecting systems across environments.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) for secure deployments.
• Provide engineering support: performance tuning and deployment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and business partners.
• Leverage GenAI tools for code assistance and automated testing.
• Analyze data models and maintain database designs for troubleshooting.
• Adhere to architectural standards and security practices.
