Job summary

A leading transportation company in Toronto is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee vehicle repair and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fleet supervision, mechanical repair, and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, supervising staff, and managing parts inventory. This position requires a valid 310T or 310S certification and at least five years of relevant experience in the field.

Qualifications

• 5 years of fleet Supervisor experience in a Diesel Shop with Heavy/Med duty fleets.
• Minimum of five years Auto / Truck or Bus mechanical repair experience.
• Experience with Compliance with local applicable DOT compliance of Med / Heavy Trucks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs.
• Oversee local implementation of maintenance and safety SOPs.
• Supervise the maintenance staff at the facility.
