Qualifications

  • 4+ years of environmental management experience on infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of environmental monitors who conduct site visits to oversee contractor compliance with environmental management plan and contractual requirements.
  • Manage and raise concerns noted by inspection team if environmental protocols are not adhered to, including submission of incident reports.
  • Environmental construction inspection responsibilities include attending progress meetings and preparing weekly/daily inspection reports.
  • Lead maintenance, updating, and review of tracking sheets/logs for risk registry, RFIs, submittals, working days, other issues, etc., ensuring timely provision of documents.
