Purpose We are currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer, Oil & Gas. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Sarnia, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • The candidate will lead small to medium oil and gas projects for the Electrical discipline and interface well with the customer and coordinate with the rest of the project team.
  • Take responsibility for the Electrical engineering and design team assigned to and their design output with respect to quality, cost, and schedule requirements for specific projects.
  • Support the Technical Integrity role for the Electrical discipline.
  • Ensure all engineering and design work performed adjusts to quality, cost and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner.
  • Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
What You Will Bring
Technical and Industry Experience
  • Senior level of engineering experience in electrical engineering and fuels/chemicals projects is an asset.
  • Leadership role supporting multiple small to mid-sized projects.
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation would be an asset/preferable.
  • Experience in HV Substation and knowledge of Utility Standards will an asset.
Required
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
  • University graduate in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science.
  • P. Eng (Ontario) designation preferred or to be able to register.
