Lush is known worldwide for its unique bath and beauty products. We pride ourselves on amazing skin and hair care, personalized customer service, environmental activism and a vibrant store atmosphere. We believe it is our responsibility to advocate for the environment, animals and people in need, and we’re passionate about giving back to organizations locally and around the world.

Supported by our retail locations, an e‑commerce business, and manufacturing and distribution operations, the Lead Digital Producer plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with each business stream that it supports daily. You will be curious about opportunities and authentic in feedback and support.

The Lead Digital Producer is responsible for ensuring the effective management of resources between Business Analysts (BAs) and Digital Producers, regularly checking in with team members to support growth and address challenges while maintaining alignment with project goals. Acting as the primary contact for management, the Lead Digital Producer provides updates, flags risks and ensures the team is well‑informed on project expectations.

This role works closely with the Head of Digital Operations to implement new processes and develop templates that improve consistency and efficiency across digital projects, supporting the BA and Producer teams and collaborating with Engineering leads for project direction, thereby fostering a cohesive and well‑organized project environment that drives success.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to evolve and improve the current structure and processes. You will be curious about opportunities, listen actively and effectively lead the team through analysis and execution of improvement initiatives, and be authentic in giving and receiving feedback and support.

Lush thrives with people that can adapt and evolve to the needs of our business. You have a passion for bringing value, leading change and having an impact on the organisations you work with, and you are ready to join a business dedicated to fair‑trade sourcing, supporting sustainable communities and giving back to grassroots organisations.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Operations, North America, you will take on these core RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the People Manager for a team of three, including two Business Analysts and one Operations Specialist.
  • Oversee resource allocation between BAs and Digital Producers, ensuring appropriate workload distribution across projects.
  • Partner with the Global and Local NA Backend Engineering leads to support projects and technical processes.
  • Step in as a SCRUM master and product owner to support Engineering teams in driving and defining new work.
  • Serve as the lead contact with management, providing regular updates, flagging risks and maintaining transparency on team performance.
  • Conduct regular check‑ins with team members to support professional growth and project alignment.
  • Establish business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate the lifecycle of digital projects that meet overall business objectives and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Operations, NA, Web Engineering Leads and peers to implement processes and create templates that improve consistency and efficiency to resolve challenges or process concerns.
  • Work with BAs and Producers to standardise documentation, reporting and communication practices across projects.
  • Ensure cross‑functional teams, including designers, developers and stakeholders, remain informed and aligned.
  • Proactively manage risks, technical complexities and project challenges, offering solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Develop and implement project management practices, processes and metrics.
  • Define digital project portfolio and identify expected outcomes, establish timelines and assign project staff.
  • Support continuous improvement by gathering feedback from the team and stakeholders to refine processes and templates.
  • Mentor team members, promoting knowledge‑sharing and professional development.

Below are the QUALIFICATIONS you bring to this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior project management role.
  • Proven leadership experience in digital production, with the ability to manage and support a team of Business Analysts and Digital Producers.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a focus on effective resource management and workload balancing.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with management, team members, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and templates to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development processes and project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Jira, Gantt charts).
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks while maintaining a focus on timely and high‑quality project delivery.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Experience working in eCommerce, digital IT tech or similar industries, with a technical background preferred.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion and celebrating the uniqueness of team members.
  • Familiarity with Lush, eCommerce and the retail environment (preferred).
