Summary

The Lead Generation Representative position expands Ryder's footprint in the used vehicle sales market and shortens the sales cycle by turning over highly qualified leads to Used Vehicle Sales Managers. This position is responsible for providing qualified leads in multiple geographic territories.

Work Type and Salary

Full‑time, permanent. Base pay $40,000 – $45,000 annually plus commission.

Shift

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Functions
  • Engages in lead nurturing and assesses whether a lead merits one‑on‑one attention (no cold calling).
  • Accomplishes one‑on‑one nurturing and determines if the lead merits assigning a used vehicle sales resource.
  • Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified Lead and a Used Vehicle Sales Manager.
  • Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's UVS value proposition and services offered.
  • Maintains a high level of call volume to pass qualified leads to UVS managers, set customer appointments and generate revenue dollars.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Can recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years or more prior inside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Five9 an asset.
Compensation Information

Pay Type: Salaried. Minimum Pay Range: $40,000. Maximum Pay Range: $45,000.
