Job summary

MNP is seeking a Manager for the Cross Border Individual Tax team to drive U.S. and combined U.S.-Canadian return work from Abbotsford, BC. You will advise on cross-border tax strategies, lead engagement teams and support expatriate planning in a dynamic regulatory environment.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality tax solutions for expatriates and employers with U.S. and Canadian interests.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required or in progress.
• 4–5 years of public accounting or tax consulting experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Form 1040, 8621, 5471, 3520 is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client engagements for U.S. and U.S./Canada tax returns.
• Assist in expatriate policy design and compensation planning.
• Review returns and supervise team for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage engagement planning, scheduling, budgets and billing.
