Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer (Client-dedicated) to lead programming for complex clinical studies, generating tables, listings, and derived datasets in line with SAP and analysis specifications. You will collaborate with Biostatistics and Programming teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and regulatory compliance.

The role requires SAS proficiency, trial experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects, mentor junior

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develops custom programming code to generate tables, listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the SAP and programming specs.
• Ensures outputs meet quality standards and project requirements; performs validation and coordinates with team to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintains project documentation, testing, and QC documents; ensures inspection readiness.
• Manages scheduling across multiple projects; drafts specifications and anticipates programming issues.
• Acts as lead statistical programmer; mentors staff and reviews documentation.
• Participates in sponsor meetings and transfers deliverables.
