The Interior Health Authority seeks a pediatric psychiatrist to shape child and adolescent mental health care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. You will perform assessments and treatments for youth up to 18, within a dynamic, academic-adjacent system that supports families and communities.

You will join a collaborative team, lead as Most Responsible Physician during stays, mentor learners, and participate in leadership programs like NAVIG8 to develop as a physician-leader within the regional

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and treatments for patients up to 18 years old.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians and social workers.
• Provide leadership as Most Responsible Physician during hospital stays.
• Mentor medical trainees and participate in education programs.
• Support community-based mental health services and transitions to adulthood.
