  • Experience of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange the bar area to make attractive displays.
  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
  • Clean bar area and wash glassware.
  • Serve food or snacks.
  • Advise on wine selection.
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff.
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections.
  • Operate cash register.
  • Store beverage and food products.
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory.
  • Enforce liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
