Job summary

LTIMindtree Canada is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead architecture, design, and implementation of advanced analytics using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. You will work with stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-aligned data solutions.

You will guide data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration with Azure services, while mentoring a team and ensuring security and governance standards. Fluency in French is required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory French-speaking capability.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, along with data processing frameworks such as PySpark.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, and SKU migration from P-SKU to F-SKU.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake development.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Oversee end-to-end data solution delivery aligned with business needs.
• Develop data pipelines and ETL using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Integrate Databricks with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, and on-prem systems.
• Provide Spark expertise; Scala is a plus.
• Demonstrate Microsoft Fabric capabilities in pipelines, notebooks, semantic modelling, and real-time intelligence.
• Mentor data engineering team and promote best practices.
• Document architecture, data flows, and governance compliance.
• Stay updated with Databricks and related technologies.
