A law firm is seeking a full-time Law Clerk to provide administrative support and manage corporate filings. Responsibilities include client communication and file management. CARREL+Partners Law Firm requires a LAW CLERK – FULL TIME. The primary area is Corporate Law.
Providing administrative support to lawyers on their files, including but not limited to communicating with clients and other lawyers, scheduling appointments, coordinating payment of funds, maintaining physical and digital file document systems, and invoicing clients. The corporate law clerk role is also responsible for maintaining client corporate minute-books, completing corporate filings with the Ontario Business Registry, and assisting with corporate transactions.
Upon completion of on-the-job training, the candidate is expected to have a high degree of independence in running the file, always subject to lawyer supervision and guidance.
