Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital is seeking a Laundry Combo to support laundry services such as sorting, cleaning, cart pickup and delivery, and folding laundry.

The role also provides housekeeping cleaning services following established protocols. This casual relief position has no guaranteed hours, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, and pays CAD 21.22 - CAD 21.99 per hour.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to maintain established production standards.
• May be required to perform other related duties as required.
• Must be able to follow directions, written and verbal.
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work with little supervision and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Sort and clean laundry and folding.
• Sort and deliver carts between areas.
• Provide housekeeping cleaning services following established protocols.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, the Laundry Combo is responsible for laundry services such as sorting and cleaning, picking up and delivering carts, folding laundry, etc., the Laundry Combo will also provide housekeeping cleaning services to the organization following established protocols.
