Job summary

Pursuit in Banff is seeking a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Attendant to clean rooms, restock supplies, and maintain public areas. You will perform bedding removal, laundry runs, and assist with event setups while ensuring safety and high cleaning standards.

The role requires a strong work ethic, a valid Alberta Class 5 license, and teamwork with friendly, proactive guest service. Starting wage is CAD 19.00 per hour, on-site in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strip and remove used bedding from guest rooms efficiently and according to housekeeping standards.
  • Complete laundry runs to the off-site laundry facility using company vehicle.
  • Restock housekeeping closets and supply areas to ensure Room Attendants have the linens, amenities, and supplies needed throughout their shifts.
  • Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, and public washrooms to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces.
  • Thorough and timely cleaning.
  • Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor.
  • Assists as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets.
  • Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed.
  • Support housekeeping operations as a flexible utility player capable of handling a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
