Schlegel Villages invites applications for a Laundry Aide Team Member at the Wentworth Heights Village. The unscheduled part-time role is on-site and includes a starting wage of $18.76 per hour under the collective agreement.

The Village of Wentworth Heights has an exciting opportunity for a Laundry Aide Team Memberto join their team.

The hiring rate for this role is $18.76 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

Successful candidates will be required to provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and a Tuberculosis (TB) screening test before starting.

• Carry out all laundry duties according to the procedures of the Village
• Maintain safe handling of all supplies and equipment and be comfortable lifting 15-25 lbs
• Co-operate with all Departments to assure safe, continual operation and efficiency
• Review all policy and procedure manuals annually and/or when changes occur
• Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support

It would be an asset if you have:

• Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home setting
• An understanding Infection Control and Isolation Protocols
