Job summary

Co-operators is expanding its financial services presence across Canada and seeking driven professionals to build an independent advisory business. You will run your own practice as an independent contractor distributing Co-operators products under the Co-operators brand, leveraging your network and community ties to grow a client portfolio.

You will work in a client-facing, advisory-focused role with licensing requirements and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Life Insurance License (LLQP or equivalent) and/or Mutual Funds License (e.g., IFC, CIFC), or are willing to obtain them.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or other advice-based sales environments.
• Experience running your own business is preferred.
• Background in wealth management, B2B sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience in client-facing advisory or relationship-management roles where trust matters.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with autonomy and long-term growth focus.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with community members and grow a client portfolio.
• Provide tailored insurance and wealth solutions aligned to client goals.
• Prospect, network, and engage with communities to generate opportunities.
