Job summary

Ledcor is hiring experienced lattice tower assemblers and skilled labourers for a major project in Fort McMurray, AB. The role blends hands-on construction work with operation of heavy equipment, emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Work consists of 14 days on, 7 days off, with 10–12 hour days, plus overtime. Camp accommodations and extended health benefits are provided through the CLAC program, with travel allowances where eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience with steel construction and rigging in industrial settings.
• Experience around or operating heavy equipment in construction/utility projects.
• Ability to read drawings and prints to guide assembly work.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork; physically capable of outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel lattice tower structures as part of a transmission line project.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and Zoom Boom.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and support site safety meetings.
• Complete general labour tasks including site prep, cleanup and organization.
• Collaborate with crew to meet production targets and maintain safety standards.
