Bring your big imagination and great problem-solving skills to our Earthscape team as a Landscaping Construction Foreman/Forewoman! This is a full time/seasonal opportunity to work on some of southern Ontario’s most beautiful residential landscape projects, and the chance to develop and refine a wide variety of skills. In addition to excellent on-the-job training in project management and site supervision and a safe and inclusive work environment, we offer:

As a Landscaping Construction Foreman/Forewoman you will support our crews in Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas with a daily commute to our home office in Wallenstein or directly to a jobsite depending on the day. You will supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a landscape construction crew, train crew members onsite in skills and methods of landscape installation, plan labor & equipment requirements and material deliveries and timing. You’ll also coordinate subcontractors, provide oversight/supervise on location, and maintain & enforce standards of safety, cleanliness and organization.

To be the successful Landscaping Construction Foreman/Forewoman candidate you:

  • Align with our core values of integrity, hard work, teamwork, the pursuit of excellence and loving what we do;
  • Have 5+ years of experience across a broad range of landscaping construction site work, including concrete, masonry, carpentry, site layout, site grading and installing and maintaining water features;
  • Have experience reading and interpreting scaled drawings;
  • Demonstrate leadership by example and the ability to communicate effectively and engage others in the accomplishment of tasks in an efficient and organized way;
  • Are comfortable and skilled operating a variety of landscaping machinery;
  • Have a minimum G class license;
  • Consent to background checks relevant to the role which may include: work references, education and credential confirmation, employment verification, identity check, criminal offence and driver’s license record
