Job summary

Hutten Land and Shore in Owen Sound, Ontario, is seeking a Landscape Construction Sales professional to guide clients from initial conversations through proposals and project handoff. This role blends consulting, estimating, client experience, and project sales leadership to create exceptional outdoor spaces.

You'll meet with clients, conduct site visits, develop buildable concepts with design and construction teams, prepare proposals, and manage the full sales cycle while upholding Hutten's

Qualifications

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals, priorities, and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and document site conditions.
  • Identify creative and practical solutions for landscape and shoreline challenges.
  • Qualify opportunities and guide clients through the design-build process.
  • Prepare estimates following company standards and systems.
  • Build clear and compelling construction proposals.
  • Ensure proposals accurately reflect scope, materials, and project intent.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to confirm pricing and feasibility.
  • Provide detailed project information to support successful builds.
  • Guide clients confidently through the full sales process.
  • Present proposals and help clients make informed decisions.
  • Build trust through strong listening, clear communication, and professional guidance.
  • Document sales activity and maintain records in the company CRM.

Landscape Construction Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time. Minimum Experience: Experienced. Salary: $35-$45+/hour + commission. Relocation Assistance: $5,000. Location: Owen Sound, Ontario. Department: HR / Sales / Design.

You can explain the process clearly to clients and guide them through big decisions. And you enjoy turning opportunities into successful projects. As Landscape Construction Sales, you lead clients through the full consultation and sales process — from initial conversations and site visits through proposals and project handoff. You combine construction knowledge, client relationships, and sales performance to help bring exceptional outdoor spaces to life. This role blends consulting, estimating, client experience, and project sales leadership.

Consulting & Opportunity Development
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals, priorities, and budgets
