As the City of Mississauga intensifies, delivering parkland and protecting City parkland assets becomes increasingly challenging and essential as we strive to create healthy complete communities.
The Park Assets, Urban Design team consists of both planners and landscape architects who work together to plan parks, expand City’s parkland and greenlands, protect City park assets; and comment on behalf of the department on various capital works projects, and City parkland matters.
Under the direction of the Park Assets Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for representing the departmental interests on development applications, capital works projects, streetscape design review, security releases, landscape and streetscape inspections, as well as parkland and other technical studies. This position requires the ability to resolve issues within a fast‑paced environment, manage several projects at one time, have a full breadth of knowledge of technical construction documents, comment on legal agreements, and have excellent public communication skills.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 89,464.00 - $ 119,286.00
