Job summary

An Indigenous organization in Ontario is seeking a Lands and Resources Coordinator to manage the Reserve Lands & Environment Management Program. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Administration or a related field, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and a knowledge of Anishnabek lands. Preference will be given to qualified Anishinabek applicants. This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $53,591.20 – $65,499.20.

Qualifications

  • 2 years related work experience required.
  • Fluency in Anishinabemowin is a strong asset.
  • Ability to prepare narrative and statistical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Reserve Lands & Environment Management Program.
  • Maintain relationships and open communications with the organization.
  • Perform duties relating to the Management of Lands required by Chief & Council.
