Job Description
- Manually or with powered equipment, transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials across the factory and warehouse.
- Ingredients should be measured and dumped into hoppers of mixing and grinding machinery or mobile tank trucks.
- Feed and unload processing machinery for food, beverages, and related products.
- Feed flattened boxes into container-building equipment.
- Manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers after removing loaded containers from conveyors.
- Workplaces and equipment should be kept clean.
- Examine products and packaging for fundamental quality flaws.
- Examine the size, shape, and sheen of each food item to ensure that it fulfills the company’s quality criteria.
- Assist process control and machine operators in carrying out their duties.
- React to any type of alarms or malfunctions of the equipment and operate the shut-off switch when necessary.
- Keep track of production and testing data for food batches and share it with team members.
- Set up, operate, and clean professional manual and electric food preparation and processing equipment.
- Using appropriate devices, homogenize or pasteurize delicate items.
- Temperatures in cold and hot holds, as well as mixing chambers or equipment, should be checked on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Completion of a GED or high school diploma program.
- Capability to adhere to all necessary food safety regulations in food manufacturing.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills are required.
- Work experience in food processing or an industrial kitchen.
- Understanding of quality assurance techniques.
- A valid food handler’s license or comparable safety certification is required.
- Familiarity with large-scale food preparation procedures and equipment.
- Capability to monitor and record temperature and other vital status readings.

Salary: $20.60 - $25.00 per hour
