Job summary

North American Construction Group is seeking Mining Maintenance Yardpersons to join the Fort Hills site near Fort McMurray. This role offers a camp environment with paid flights and a strong safety focus.

Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and energy-safety credentials will help you thrive on our remote mining site. You will operate skid-steer, Zoom Boom, or forklift and must have a valid Class 5 license with a recent Driver’s Abstract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in heavy equipment maintenance environment.
• Experience with Ground Engagement Tools (GET).
• Experience operating skid-steer, zoom boom and/or forklift.
• Valid Class 5 License and light vehicle experience on Oil Sands sites.
• Ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract.
• Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada) certification.
• Energy Safety Canada trainings: wildlife, ergonomics, silica, H2S, OHS.

Mining Maintenance Yardpersons - Fort Hills - 14/14 - Camp + Paid Flights - Up to $44.74/hr - Fort McMurray, AB

North American Construction Group is seeking Maintenance Yardpersons to join their remote mining site team at Fort Hills near Fort McMurray. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the region’s largest and safest contracts, with a strong focus on safety and career growth. What You’ll Need

• Experience operating skid-steer, zoom boom and/or forklift
• Valid Class 5 License and previous light duty vehicle experience on Oil Sands sites
• Ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract
• Valid CSO or BSO (Energy Safety Canada)
• Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, Field Ergonomics, Silica Awareness, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness, OHS (all Energy Safety Canada)
• Subject to random testing at Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
• Pre-employment testing: Breath Alcohol, Urine Drug, Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment, Audiometric, Vision Screening, Criminal Record Check
