Job summary

A leading energy company located in Canada is seeking a dedicated individual to assist with maintenance and repair activities at their Meadowbank Plant. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to changes, and a valid driver’s license for commuting. Qualifications

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with a variety of construction, repair, installation and maintenance activities.
  • Operate a variety of equipment and tools related to maintenance.
  • Ensure the highest level of safety standards, including compliance with all applicable government regulations and corporate policies.
  • Perform cleaning tasks and projects daily as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Operate mobile equipment as assigned.
  • Report safety incidents and or infractions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality control.
  • Complete yard moisture sampling.

  • Level 3 Occupational First Aid training is available for interested employees.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required to get to and from the site.
  • The ability to complete online and paper forms or basic checklists.
  • You are adaptable to changes in work schedule and tasks as required.
  • You are a team player with excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in an industrial environment will be considered an asset.
  • You are a strong communicator.
  • Good mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset.
  • Control room operator experience would be considered an asset.
  • Level 3 First Aid Certification would be considered an asset.

The Location: Meadowbank Plant

Our Meadowbank Plant is located ten minutes South of Hixon, British Columbia, Canada which is approximately 45 Kilometers from Quesnel, BC and 75 kilometers away from Prince George, BC. This position requires a daily commute by vehicle to and from the site. Willingness and the ability to drive to and from work each day will be a requirement of the role.
