A leading staffing firm is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate in Calgary, Alberta. This role involves processing orders, lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 100 lbs, and operating hand trucks. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet and may need to complete a criminal background check. Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate for one of our renowned clients in the document storage field.
Shift: 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, Mondays‑Fridays. The starting wage for this role is $18.73/hr.
Normal Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day including 30‑minute lunch and two 15‑minute breaks.
Employees process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes and other materials. The work is very physical requiring the manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling and twisting. Employees must be able to lift and carry boxes ranging in weight from 10‑100 lbs on a regular basis, without assistance. Employees must be able to load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks while walking on uneven and concrete surfaces.
Eligible candidates must be comfortable to have a criminal background check completed and may need to complete additional security clearances for certain projects.
