Job summary

Bunge in Thunder Bay, ON is seeking a General Labourer to support grain handling, facility cleanliness, and operations. The role is hands-on, safety-driven, with tasks ranging from equipment operation to general maintenance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Related forklift, skid-steer or loader experience is asset.
• Comfortable ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license is preferred.
• Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in a safe efficient way according to company policies and procedures.
• Operate basic hand and power tools in accordance with proper procedure.
• Load and unload materials.
• Perform general maintenance including conducting routine equipment repairs for processing equipment.
• Keep facility and grounds clean, tidy and free of fire hazards while working within the Employee Health & Safety guidelines. Follow ISO standards and procedures.

A Day in the Life:

The General Labourer will play a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This position is hands‑on and active, involving a variety of tasks related to grain handling, facility cleanliness, and support to operations.
