Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Niagara Falls, ON is seeking a part-time General Laborer to support operations at Marine and Industrial job sites across Canada. The role reports to the Project Manager and Marine & Industrial Superintendent, handling manual tasks and operating equipment.

Key tasks include degreasing, pressure washing, hydro blasting, tank cleaning, and set-up/tear-down of gear, using drills, sprayers, and water spraying equipment, at multiple locations with safety first in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience in the marine industry and/or industrial job sites is a definite asset.
• A minimum “G” license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including degreasing, pressure washing, hydro blasting, tank cleaning, setting up and tearing down equipment.
• Utilize tools and machines such as power drills, sprayers, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
• Be capable of participating in all work-related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor at multiple locations in a safe and effective manner.
• Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers, vendors, both on and off the job.
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.

Job description

GFL is looking for a part-time General Laborer to help support our operations in Niagara Falls, ON. Your primary responsibility as a General Laborer will be to perform physical and manual tasks at a variety of Marine and Industrial job sites in Canada. This position reports to the Project Manager on a day to day basis with overall responsibility under the Marine & Industrial Superintendent.
