Qualifications

• Must be certified with a General Certificate in all areas of laboratory.
• Experience in all areas of laboratory considered a major asset.
• Fluency in more than one official language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, and Microbiology services.
• Analyze samples and conduct individual patient tests.
• Prepare samples and identify growth in media.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Laboratory Technologies

Ability to operate complex laboratory instrumentation

Fluency in Inuktut, English, or French

Education

Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Certification with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science
