A leading laboratory services provider in Toronto is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temporary contract role. The technician will conduct sample preparation and analysis, perform method validations, and maintain laboratory instruments. A university degree or college diploma in a chemistry-related field is required along with laboratory safety training. This position involves working in a lab environment with potential for extra hours on weekends.
Laboratory Technician (Chemistry, Temporary Contract) - Eurofins Experchem Laboratories, Inc.
Under direct supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor or Department Head, these positions are responsible for conducting sample preparation and analysis using the appropriate analytical methods for organic and inorganic materials.
This is a laboratory environment with the majority of time spent standing and working at a lab bench. Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate PPE. Lifting requirements of up to 30 lbs on a regular basis. Extra hours, weekends and evenings will be required.
