Job description

Part-Time Student Position

We are currently looking for a student enrolled in a Biotechnology DEC program who wishes to apply their learning in a hands‑on way by joining our laboratory team for approximately 7 to 15 hours per week (with the possibility of full‑time work during school breaks).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and label materials used for embryo production.
  • Participate in quality control procedures (pH and temperature measurements).
  • Assist with cell structure fixation, staining, and slide mounting. Read slides using fluorescence microscopy.
  • Support technicians in routine production operations as needed (e.g., oocyte retrieval and fertilization, semen preparation, embryo transfer and freezing, and culture media preparation).
  • Sterilize lab equipment and maintain work surfaces.
  • Prepare basic solutions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
