Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a Laboratory Assistant I in Transfusion Medicine for the U of A Hospital in Edmonton. The role includes procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, with accurate and timely reporting of results.

Shifts follow a rotation (days, evenings, weekends) within a 1.00 FTE temporary full-time assignment. Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program is required, with ongoing training in a unionized HSAA FAC PROF/TECH
