A leading analytical testing firm in Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory staff and ensure smooth testing operations. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with sample collection, and maintaining laboratory supplies. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a chemistry-related field and be able to lift up to 60 lbs. This is a full-time position in a laboratory environment with opportunities for overtime.

As a Laboratory Assistant at Eurofins Experchem Laboratories Inc., you will support laboratory staff and ensure the smooth operation of testing activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a laboratory environment with the majority of time spent standing and working at a lab bench. The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, following established safety procedure. Proper handling of hazardous materials is essential, following established safety procedures and wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Additionally, there may be a need for extra hours, occasional weekend work, and evenings as necessary.
