Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
• Must have passed the NCLEX.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, interpreting fetal heart tracings.
• Administer medications and pain management interventions.
• Educate and support mothers on delivery recovery and newborn care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide critical interventions.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control standards.
