Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in hazardous waste processing.
• Experience with Ontario Regulation 347 of the Environmental Protection Act.
• Must consent to a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite evaluations to assess and segregate hazardous waste.
• Safely consolidate processable segregated waste.
• Prepare and label bulk waste containers according to regulations.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication

Ability to analyze complex issues

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Education

Completion of a two- or three-year college program in chemical technology
