Job summary

A fertility clinic seeks a Laboratory Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will manage the shipping of biological materials, maintain patient records in EMR, and ensure compliance with medical documentation. Applicants should have Grade 12 education and Medical Office Assistant certification, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills. This full-time role requires in-person attendance in Vancouver with a salary starting at $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 and Medical Office Assistant certification.
  • Minimum two years of recent related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to discuss intimate medical topics professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Organize shipping and receipt of embryos, eggs, and sperm.
  • Track shipments to ensure safe arrival.
  • Enter patients into EMR and ensure all consents are signed.
  • Chart prep and catalog records for Andrology & Embryology.
