Job summary

FIELD & SOCIAL is seeking a Back of House team member for a part-time position in Vancouver, BC. You will help with food prep, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, team players with a willingness to learn. Perks include staff meals, employee discounts, and tips where applicable.

Qualifications

• Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Some kitchen experience would be beneficial.
• Team-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables for the day.
• Store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils properly.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing foods for cooking as directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Take charge of washing dishes during peak times.

Back of House Part Time Vancouver, BC $18 - $25 CAD per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, including greens (romaine and kale) for the day and other meal prep
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking as directed
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly
• Takes charge of washing dishes during peak times

Requirements

• Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Some kitchen experience would be beneficial
• Team-Player
• Highly Organized

Working Conditions

• Standing for long period of time
• Lifting up to 40lbs
